Strawberry Cake
INGREDIENTS:
1 pack of White Cake Mix
3 oz of Strawberry Gelatin
15 oz of Pureed Strawberries OR frozen strawberries in sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
1/4 cup of Water
Cream Cheese Frosting:
1/4 cup of Softened Butter(room temp)
8 oz of Cream Cheese(room temp)
10 oz of Pureed Sweetened Strawberries
1/2 tsp of Strawberry or Vanilla Extract
7 cups of Powdered Sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease two 9-inch cake pans.
Mix together white cake mix, strawberry gelatin, pureed strawberries OR frozen strawberries in sugar, eggs, vegetable oil and water.
Next, pour the batter into the cake pans and bake for about 20 minutes. Keep an eye on it and use the toothpick trick!
Cream Cheese Frosting: Beat the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth. Next, add pureed sweetened strawberries. Start with less and add more as needed. Then, add strawberry or vanilla extract. Slowly add powdered sugar until you have the right consistency for frosting!
*Make sure to let your cakes cool before frosting and layering!
