Kimberly Schlapman is a home lifestyle personality, author, mother, and founding member of the award-winning, platinum-selling Country music group Little Big Town. Celebrating their 25th anniversary as a band this year, Little Big Town has released 10 studio albums, earned more than 45 award show nominations, and has taken home nearly 20 awards, including multiple GRAMMY, AMA, People’s Choice, CMA, and ACM awards, along with an Emmy award.
Kimberly has hosted her own cooking show, Kimberly’s Simply Southern, and released a best-selling cookbook entitled OH GUSSIE! Cooking and Visiting in Kimberly’s Southern Kitchen. In Oh Gussie!, Kimberly shares delicious recipes and soul-stirring stories from her roots in the Appalachian foothills of north Georgia, stories about her travels on tour with Little Big Town, and glimpses from the life she loves back home in country music’s capital of Nashville. Kimberly released two product lines with various kitchen items and home goods - “Love & Daisies,” with HSN, and “Oh Gussie!” with Cracker Barrel. She has also been seen as a chef or judge on NBC’s TODAY, Dr. Oz, The View, Beat Bobby Flay, and Chopped Junior.
Kimberly currently lives in Nashville with her husband Stephen and daughters Daisy Pearl and Dolly Grace. In 2020, Kimberly released her first children’s book entitled A Dolly For Christmas, inspired by her own family’s heartfelt story to adopt a little baby girl. As an active advocate for adoption, Kimberly uses her platform to foster a sense of community and support for those embarking on their adoption journeys.
