These junior chefs are here to prove their expertise level in the kitchen to some special judges: chefs Alex Guarnaschelli and Sharone Hakman and musician Kimberly Schlapman. For appetizers, they must transform a popular packaged afternoon snack, and Mexican ingredients in the entree basket send some competitors on a similar track. When bugs in the final basket don’t go over well, the young chefs must try to emphasize other mystery ingredients.
